Medal of Colors: Return of Primarchs 2018 – Part 1

On last Saturday February, 3rd 2018, was the 4th Medal of Colors event. The theme for this 4th edition was “The Return of Primarchs” and the first time for Warhammer 40k 8th ed. This event was co-organized by myself, Rémi and the Mootland Clan, the miniature wargame association of Vienne.

For those not familiar with Medal of Colors events, the spirit of these miniatures wargaming events is to play “fun and friendly battles on nice battleboards with fully painted armies”.

Once again, this was a great success, it feels good to see the community growing from years to years! We were 20 players and could have been even more but we were limited by space and the number of table. The playing atmosphere was friendly with a high level of fairplay and I want to thanks again everyone for making this event a great moment.

This time, we had five battleboards: District Imperialis, Sector Mechanicus, Botanicum Garden, Death World and Zone Mortalis.

    Although I’m not a war gamer it doesn’t stop me from admiring the quality of the figure painting and the game boards, awesome stuff Matt.
