Manorhouse Abbaye 3D bases – Finished!

I’m done with my Manorhouse Workshop Abbaye 3D bases! And I can tell you, it was a real pleasure to paint. My only regret is that I didn’t buy more tiles >< But I know that Manorhouse Workshop is working on a new Kickstarter, the Forgotten Halls, which will feature a series of highly detailed and modular scenery kits for underground dungeons, corridors and so on. I’m really excited as this could be a great addition to the Malval District.

Anyway, here are the pictures of the finished Abbaye 3D bases.

What’s great with the 3D bases is that the whole Abbaye set (6 1×1′ tiles) fits in a large box. As I said, I think it’s the perfect medieval ruin skirmish battleboard for travelling. At least this is how I will use it XD

Here is a quick view of my newly rebased Dark Elves for Mordheim/Age of Sigmar.

As you can see on the picture above, we started an Age of Sigmar Skirmish campaign with my friend Rémi (Skeleton warriors) and Jérémy (Ironjaws). The game system is very light and fast paced, letting a lot of room to the narrative side.

  1. Very nice work. They are much more raised than I had expected though!
