One day only and so much stuff to talk about but that’s what Medal of Colors is all about! Following the previous article, in this article you’ll see the pictures of the afternoon battles, the results of the Hobby challenges and the Apocalypse game!
District Imperialis (Calth)
This battle was set on an urban gothic battleboard depicting a district of Calth.
For the afternoon game, the Imperial Fists (D Red) and Solar Auxilia (Ethanes) fought against the World Eaters (Gritche) and Emperor Children (Garga).
Botanicum Garden (Tizca)
This battle was set on an egyptian-antique-inspired battleboard depicting the interior of a Tizca’s Pyramid during the battle of Prospero.
For the afternoon game, the Imperial Fists (Blood Daddar) and Raven Guard (Killboum) fought against the dark Mechanicum (Saresti) and Night Lords (Ziegler).
Zone Mortalis (Contrador)
This battle was set inside the spacecraft Contrador.
For the afternoon game, Death Guard (Igor) fought against the Word Bearers (Christophe).
Challenges
In Medal of Colors, there is no ranking based on the game’s results. Instead there are two Hobby related challenges: one is Painting & Converting, the other is Lore & Fairplay. The best at each of this challenge is awarded a price (a medal): the gold Medal of Colors for the Painting & Converting challenge and the red Medal of Colors for the Lore & Fairplay challenge and. In addition, we also award two silver Medal of Colors for the Judges favorites.
The first silver Medal of Colors for the Judges favorites was awarded to D Red and its Imperial Fists army.
The second silver Medal of Colors for the Judges favorites was awarded to Christophe and its Word Bearers army.
The red Medal of Colors for the Lore & Fairplay challenge was awarded to Saresti and its Dark Mechanicum army.
The gold Medal of Colors for the Painting & Converting challenge was awarded to Ethanes and its Solar Auxilia army.
Apocalypse 30k
To conclude this Medal of Colors day, the bravest warriors stayed the evening for a little game of Apocalypse approximately 8000 vs 8000 pts. For this game, we put together a 13×4 ft table (390×120 cm). The two sides were: Imperial Fists, Custodes and Raven Guard vs Night Lords, Death Guard and Space Wolves.
